Group Class Descriptions

•Adult Ballet (Offered as a workshop) – This is a slow paced ballet class, open to any level, but geared towards beginners.  We will start at the barre, and then move to center floor to learn basic technique and terminology. Class finishes in the center focusing on basic ballet combinations.

Any workout gear acceptable, footwear is ballet shoes, socks or bare feet

 

•Bollywood Burn - Owch! who's that sexy babe shaking her shoulders and flashing her eyes at me? It's you! - Showing of your new confidence and revved up body from learning the spicy moves of Bollywood Dance, and burning major calories in the process with Bollywood Burn. This is a super fun high energy dance fitness class combining simple, funky, and flirty dance moves to re-vamp your bod and lift your spirits. Expect a sizzling head to toe cardio workout sprinkled with strengthening exercises and dance drills to help you master and co-ordinate your body movements to express your inner Desi diva. Burn Baby Burn!  

 Any workout gear acceptable, footwear is sneakers or bare feet

•Cardio Ballet Blast – Bring out your Black Swan, This class is an aerobic workout based on ballet technique. This class burns calories and tones the body to give you the look of a dancer without having to be one. Class begins at the ballet barre, and then moves to center floor to tone the abs, waist, inner & outer thighs, butt and arms, and is an intense cardio workout. No ballet training required (This class was created by Yolanda Bergman of LA‘s Class by Yolanda)
 Any workout gear acceptable, sneakers optional

•Cirque Fitness – Our signature class combines, acrobatics, pilates, ballet, with ground and aerial circus arts. We begin with a simple warm-up, next students learn the basics of doing a handstand, finally we move to the fabric for strengthening and conditioning. Within just a few classes you will understand basic climbing, fabric, wraps, and simple inverts. We provide a fun and supportive atmosphere to challenge you like nothing you’ve done before! This class is for all levels. No experience required

Form fitting clothes recommended, wide leg pants, and baggy shirts will interfere with the fabric, class is done barefoot
 

•Kickboxing – Cardio Kickboxing is just a good fun class. Kick punch and sweat your way to a hot body. Tried and true this workout never gets boring and you leave stress free to boot.

Sneakers required and comfortable workout gear recommended 

•Pilates Mat –Is based on the exercise method developed by Joseph Pilates to lengthen and strengthen the body.  Pilates mat uses the core muscles to focus on spinal alignment and articulation for over all body health. You will leave feeling energized, long and lean. Mat work can be done at any level.

•Stretch and Tone  – An hour long class based on dance warm-up exercises focusing on stretching of the entire body, with some light toning added in to raise the heart rate for maximum flexibility This class is a nice intro back to fitness or a perfect class for those wanting to work on their flexibility. Leave feeling open, relaxed and just a little tighter all over!

•Zumba -  The Zumba® program fuses hypnotic Latin rhythms and easy-to-follow moves to create a one-of-a-kind fitness program that will blow you away. Our goal is simple: We want you to want to work out, to love working out, to get hooked. Zumba® Fanatics achieve long-term benefits while experiencing an absolute blast in one exciting hour of calorie-burning, body-energizing, awe-inspiring movements meant to engage and captivate for life!

Sneakers required, and comfortable workout gear recommended 

•Zumba Toning - When it comes to body sculpting, Zumba Toning raises the bar (or rather, the toning stick). It combines targeted body-sculpting exercises and high-energy cardio work with Latin-infused Zumba moves to create a calorie-torching, strength-training dance fitness-party. Students learn how to use lightweight, maraca-like Toning Sticks to enhance rhythm and tone all their target zones, including arms, abs, glutes and thighs. Zumba Toning is the perfect way for enthusiasts to sculpt their bodies naturally while having a total blast.

Sneakers required, and comfortable workout gear recommended 

•Shake and Shimmy Burlesque (Offered as a workshop)– A women only fitness class based on the elements of the famous art form.  The class begins with a fun warm up, continues to walking, prop work, and finishes with a simple “bump and grind dance routine”. This is a chance to let out your inner bombshell, bring a friend and shimmy your cares away.

Any workout gear acceptable, wear sneakers, or if the mood strikes you bring your pumps! 

•Friday Night Dance Party - This class is a cardio dance class for anybody and everybody. Each week features a different theme and routine from 80's to hip-hop to burlesque. The staff takes turns teaching to ensure fresh music moves, and styles.  Class starts with a fun warm up, moves to isolations, continues across the floor and finishes with a calorie burning dance routine that inspires good sweaty fun for just 10 bucks.

Sneakers required, bring your spandex and neon!
